Google to Offer its Own Browser: Chrome
Googles new browser: faster, less memory, yada yada.
The important part is that it includes Google Gears by default. Offline web app access included by default is the next step in making the OS more about the browser than the OS and harpooning Microsoft’s market dominance (and lets be clear, its Google, not Apple, that has the best shot of doing this.)
